Denton Regional Medical Center provides a wide range of surgical options for patients facing cancer. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) Commission on Cancer.
Outpatient Oncology Care
- Oncology Nurse Navigator Program
The Nurse Navigator program is the only one in north Texas. Headed by a registered nurse trained in cancer care, she is available to help patients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, medications, and community resources. In addition, patients can be fitted for wigs, breast prosthesis and other mastectomy items in a private setting dedicated solely to breast cancer patients. - ACS Cancer Resource Center
This center offers a wide variety of free health-related materials, resources, and services to patients and families so that they can make informed decisions. - Diagnostic Center at Denton Regional
Advanced diagnostic testing such as CT, MRI, PET/CT, Nuclear Imaging and Ultrasound. - Day Surgery Center at Denton Regional
Outpatient surgery with the highest quality of care in a warm, personal environment. - Additional Services
Includes Outpatient Cancer Rehabilitation, Nutritional Counseling and Lymphedema Services, and a variety of cancer support groups.

Full Field Digital Mammography, Digital Ultrasound, Stereotactic Biopsy and Ultrasound Guided Biopsy are offered, headed by a Fellowship-trained Breast Radiologist.
